Greetings from the EdJ

Thanks for stopping by. I have a wide area of interest in just about anything tech related. I spent nearly 39 years in the pizza business which, on the surface, seems likes an unusual choice for a tech-lover. I worked as a restaurant manager for about 10 years and then my love of PCs and tech got me the gig of being the “IT guy” for the remainder of my career. I loved my job and learned a wide variety of skills while wearing many hats. My standing joke was that if you could plug it in, I had to be the resident expert and support it.

Much to learn you still have my old padawan. This is just the beginning.

These days, I mainly mess around with 3D printing, CAD modeling with Fusion 360, and generally trying to improve my existing skills and learn more about anything I find nerdy, cool, or interesting. I also like creating tutorials and how-to videos and do a bit of woodworking. I like to think of myself as a “maker” who has a lot more to learn. I just started a YouTube channel and hope to grow it along with this website.

YouTube: Making With An EdJ

At the moment, this site and my YouTube channel are in their infancy. I plan to make time every week or two to post new content and see where it leads.

Keep learning, and remember…

Like bow ties and fezzes, 3D printers are cool!
